FYI – I’ve tried targeting Facebook ads towards high income and high net worth individuals. It was unsuccessful. I was getting likes, but they were people who worked at very low income jobs.
I talked to someone at Facebook about it and they said that income and net worth are NOT figured out by an algorithm. It only shows up if the person ticked a box on their own. And if you know much about wealthy people, you know that most of them would not tick a box saying how much they make.
I think there are other, more roundabout ways to target high net worth people on FB (hobbies, interests, etc). Unfortunately its not as easy as checking a box. Has anyone had success with that?
